EURO and AUD Fell on Black Friday–Recap November 25

The Euro/USD ended the black Friday falling as it did during most of the week. Most other currencies also depreciated against the US dollar such as the Australian Dollar, Yen and CHF. Here is a summary of the price movements of major exchange rates for November 25th:

Forex Market:

The Euros to USD exchange rate declined by 0.81% to reach 1.3239; during November, the EUROS/USD fell by 4.5%. Furthermore, the Australian Dollar to US Dollar also followed and declined by 0.25% yesterday and reached 0.971. The GBP to USD exchange rate also slipped by 0.37% to reach 1.5439; during November, the GBP to USD shed 4.0% off its value.

The US Dollar also appreciated against the Yen by 0.80% yesterday and reached 77.7328.

The US dollar to Canadian exchange rate on the other hand slightly fell by 0.02% on Friday to 1.0468. During November the USD/CAD exchange rate inclined by 4.8%.

Commodities Market:

Gold price slightly fell on Friday by 0.61% to $1,688.50. During November, gold price also declined by 2.1%.

WTI spot oil price on the other hand slightly rose by 0.94% and reached $96.77 per barrel; during November the WTI spot oil price added 3.8% to its value.
